Hi, I'm Eli.
An artist and designer out of Columbus, OH.
I’m currently a sophomore studying Industrial Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan—though I’m an Ohioan and Buckeye, born and raised.
Creativity has always been a core part of who I am. As a kid, I was constantly drawing, building, and crafting—anything that let me bring ideas to life. That passion for making led me to my first CAD program in middle school, where I discovered a whole new way to create. I spent hours on TinkerCAD, designing little scenes and objects, fascinated by the ability to shape something in a digital space.
In high school, I joined a robotics team, discovered SolidWorks, and became convinced I wanted to be an engineer. I loved problem-solving and designing functional solutions, but something always felt like it was missing. While my teammates focused solely on performance, I found myself obsessing over form, proportions, and aesthetics. Why couldn’t something be both functional and beautiful? That frustration led me to industrial design, where I finally found a balance between creativity and engineering.
Now, I’m driven by the challenge of designing thoughtful, engaging, and meaningful products—ones that don’t just work well, but also enrich people’s lives through their form, feel, and function.
